An Exciting Opportunity for Youth!
Youth from across Ontario have the unique opportunity to come together to sing in our Youth Music Projects, facilitated by Artistic Director Jennifer Moir and culminating in an evening concert in which the participants will perform with our acclaimed artists-in-residence, RAJATON.
During the Youth Music Projects, young people will join forces for workshops, rehearsal and performance of mass choir music with clinicians Jennifer Moir, Hamilton Children’s Choir’s Zimfira Poloz (www.hamiltonchildrenschoir.com) and our Kaleid 2010 artists-in-residence, RAJATON ( www.rajaton.net ).
We are also pleased to offer participants a Treble Choir for unchanged voices as well as a Mixed Choir for changed voices. In addition to a day of singing and fun, each mass choir will rehearse and perform a solo piece on the evening concert program with our guest artists, RAJATON. The Kaleid Festival is pleased to provide a curriculum package for teachers to make the most of the event prior to, during and after the Festival experience.
In addition to the evening mass choir experience for the participants in the Youth Music Project, the evening concert will also feature showcase performances by several Ontario choirs and a final bonus performance by our guest artists, the world-famous a cappella group, RAJATON
