Types of Choir Participation
There are four different ways for choirs to participate in Kaleid 2010, and we’ve grouped them into four FEE categories:
GROUP A: Showcase Choirs
WILL perform a 10 minute set in the Thursday London Concert or Friday Woodstock Concert, but WILL NOT participate in any workshops. There is a non-refundable deposit of $100 to ensure their spot on the program.
GROUP B: Showcase Choirs
WILL perform a 10 minute set in the Thursday London Concert or Friday Woodstock Concert, and WILL participate in the Saturday Mass Choir Workshops (MCP) during the day. There is a non-refundable deposit of $100 for these choirs as well as an additional fee of $400.
GROUP C: Workshop Choirs
WILL NOT perform in the showcase concerts either Thursday evening in London, or Friday in Woodstock, but WILL participate in the youth music project (YMP) during the day, either Thursday in London, or Friday in Woodstock. There is a non-refundable deposit of $100 for these choirs as well as an additional fee of $200.
GROUP D: Mass Choir Project Choirs
WILL NOT perform in the showcase concerts either Thursday evening in London, or Friday in Woodstock, but WILL participate in the Saturday Mass Choir workshop (MCP). There is a non-refundable deposit of $100 for these choirs as well as an additional fee of $400.
Important Fee Schedule Information:
- January 16th, 2010 Showcase Choirs will be notified via email of final programming decisions.
• Adjustments will be made accordingly to Choir GROUP Status if necessary
- January 23rd, 2010 All Music order forms DUE on or before this date – please send to kaleidchoralfestival@yahoo.ca - Music Plus will be in touch with you directly
- February 1st, 2010 • Fee payments are due for GROUP B and D choirs (must be postmarked on or by Feb 1st, 2010)
